ive had my sw 1911pd for quite awhile and like it a lot. I purchased another one the other day and the only difference is that it has trijicon night sights. was a later option they came out with?
Did you buy the PD new or used? I got my first PD in 07 and they didn't offer night sights on the commander PD then. The new E-series commander does come with night sights. Hope this helps, best of luck Tom.
