What happened to Spencer?
I watched a couple of episodes of the first season. Thought it might be a good show with an old West setting. Wrong. A disgusting violent soap opera with lots of bloody beating. Unfit for human consumption.
I'm still trying to figure out how a sheepherder in 1923 Montana came up with a Thompson
We watched 1883 and the feeling of dread is just as strong

Very different world one hundred years ago, with different attitudes and perspectives on many things. Can't assess today's judgements on yesterday's world. Granted, probably not many ranchers bought these guns, but advertising and marketing are among the few things that haven't changed much since 1925.
The wife and watched the 1st season and were waiting for the second to finally come out. I wasn't impressed, nor the wife, at all with the 2 "ladies" storyline. We felt it didn't add anything to the show and was completely unnecessary. But, we kept watching since the main story was decent. Started season 2 last night since there were 2 episodes released on Paramount+. When we got to the ship "scene" we shut it off and watched something else. I know this behavior has been around forever but I don't need to see it on my TV screen.
My wife and I both have thick skin with all we've been through but we aren't supporting this. We had to draw the line, and we did...
Except the "whining" could prevent someone else from wasting their time watching it.Some of y'all take your tv shows WAY too seriously, IMO.
If you don't like it, change the channel. Don't go around whining about it.

So quit whining about the, er, whining!Except that everyone doesn't like or dislike what everyone else does. Different tastes, IOW.
Whining is for children.
