No Chicken Coop 2nd Model...
Nope Dick, that one came to me from one of my regular scouts... he spotted it in a little shop in Southern Maine and I went to visit... Was priced as a 1st Model. When in a momentary fit of concience I tried to tell the owner that it wasn't, he growled at me through clenched teeth he said, "I don't care.. the price is the price and I'm not dropping it one single cent..". I shrugged and said "Okay, you win!" and forked over the cash....
Funny thing about Farm Guns though... I had another fella bring me his "Barn Gun" last week... an early Postwar 3rd Model K-22 with the one line address... All he wanted was a .410 Single Shot because he couldn't hit anything with the K-22 anymore. This despite the entire front sight ramp and blade being painted bright red.... K16,000-something... I can't read all of the serial number yet as it's still soaking to get all the dried axle grease loosened up....
