Here's one of the 100 38/44 Heavy Duty revolvers that were shipped to the British Columbia Police in 1940.
It has all of its 'leathers', also.
The BCP was later melded into the RCMP.

Nice gun Don. What is the sn? I have 61730 that was a October 25, 1940 shipment to Marshall Wells Co, for the BCP. I got the holster with mine and all of the paperwork when the revolver was taransferred to the officer that it as issued to.

Mine is # 62207.
As I recall, there were two shipments of 50 each.
This one went out to Marshall Wells in the scond one.

Both shipments went to Marshall Wells Co and they were for 50ea. The ship dates were 15 and 25 Oct 1940. I wondered where this one got to! A very nice gun!
