We've had a few posts in recent weeks with Model of 1950 target 44s and 45s (pre 24s and 26s for those so inclined) and I wanted to post mine but didn't have very good pictures. And then DubsModel29 offered (thanks much) some smooth target stocks here on the Classified side that I thought would look pretty nice on one of them. So finally got around to taking a few more pictures. Pictures show the 45s on the outside (one bright and one satin finish) and 44s inside also one bright and one satin. The only one with stocks numbered to the gun is the satin finish 44 with magnas. The non-relieved diamond targets are numbered but not to any of these. And the set with the thumb rest are Sanderson's or at least I believe them to be. Those smooth targets probably belong on an engraved gun but I don't have one from that timeframe. Maybe some day. . . . .

As I mentioned, great looking revolvers. I have no Model 1950s in 44 S&W but I have one S&W Model 1950 Target revolver in 45 ACP,

The only other S&W Model 1950 is this Army Model 45 ACP,
