1950 Target and 1950 Heavy Duty? Reblued?

Tell the 'gentleman-hack' that purchases S&W's for his friend to take a hike.
His offer was an insult.
It was an insult even if the revolvers had perfectly done restored finishes.

Well, that is pretty much that isn't it? Thank you everyone!

Thank you especially to those that pointed out my mis-identification of the second revolver, those that addressed the incorrect grips, and those that mentioned pricing.

What I really have a problem with is that he told the OP that they were reblued - and tried to buy them at a price based on that lie. That, to me, is absolutely unethical. If he was knowledgeable, and I bet he was, he clearly saw to hard to find S&W revolvers possessed by someone who wasn't as knowledgeable as he was and he tried to steal them. Worse, he lied to do it.

People like that disgust me to my very core.

The guy knew exactly what he was doing. I had my low prices set for these at 1100 and 1000 and I was prepared to accept anything at or above that amount at the collectors show. The guy that made the offer had some firearms in the tens of thousands on his table and he identified both revolvers for the most part so he definitely knew his stuff.

His loss.

Thanks again, everyone.
