1981 Python

A fine looking weapon. The only complaint that I have had with the few Pythons I have owned in the past was the stacking double action trigger pull; the single actions were outstanding. The current Python that I have is a 1980 6" blue with a Reeves Jungkind action job that he did in 1989. He removed the double action stacking completely with a straight thru pull. Enjoy your gun; it will be a fantastic shooter and will only continue to go up in value!!!

That's a sweet Python, congratulations! I don't know which 3 guns you traded for it, but the value around here for a 6" nickel ANIB Python is about $3K. I've only have this 6" blued Python (1982)...it was someone's "truck gun", has a few dents and dings, and was wearing Pachmayr's when I bought it from a local gun store. I was able to pick it up for under $800 and later put on these Hogue one-piece stocks. It's a great shooter and very accurate. Hope you intend to put a few rounds downrange with your new Python. Enjoy!

Around the same time frame. Coltguard aka Electroless nickel. I went reverse, sold it, bought two new Pythons and enough ammo to last awhile.
