1st Model Triplelock's in .455 - What are they selling for these days??

Military Surplus prices - Getting off topic but interesting!!

I purchased two military surplus guns from former member David Damkaer a few years ago and with the guns he gave me his original receipts, here are descriptions.

First up is a Colt .45 WWI 1911 in original condition (not reworked) that David purchased at Stan's Gun Shop in Seattle on March 27th, 1964 and he paid $45 for it.

The second is a .30 M1 Carbine made by National Postal Meter that David purchased from Revere Supply Co. in New York, NY on July 12th, 1967 and he paid $65 for that one.

Yes, I still own these guns and I am David sold them to me for below the going prices back then. And I am sure the current prices has soared on these two.

I used to be a daily visitor at Stan's in the mid '60's and again in the late '70's until I finally moved away.
As for the $45.00 M1911 in 1964, that happened to be what my monthly rent was at the time. (Married in November of '63 and living in Navy housing up on the face of Magnolia Hill....)
