Thank you for sharing the real life video
review of the new S&W 686 M.G. 357mag.
I really enjoyed it. You are a very good
shooter!

My June 30, 2025 manufactured S&W 686
M.G. has had similar results 16yrds (50')
with my 158gr lead swc reloads, sighting in
from a supported arm, two handed hold. An
accurate revolver for sure.

I like this 357mag M.G. but it is no where
near the quality of my original M.G.s.

The Best to you and your Endeavors. Thanks
again.

Excellent video
You did a very professional job

I started doing these videos basically for my friends so I appreciate the king words. My shooting compadre tried some hot 357 loads thru it and found the VZ grips a little to aggressive.

A little sandpaper will take the tops off the diamonds off those grips, and they'll be much better.

Man, that gun recoils. If I didn't know better, I'd have guessed he was shooting a 44M.

Thank you for another informative video.
Now I have some idea how the 357mag M.G.
kicks with hot 357 loads. I'm currently
reloading 158gr Hornady XTPs. They
chronograph at 800fps. I want this reload
to be safely 1000fps.

Wood grips are a novelty to me. I have mixed
feelings about the TGW Bear Hug grips.

Shooting with them on was ok. They were fit,
trim, comfortable, and handled recoil quite
nicely. The right palm swell fits nice and left
palm swell adds a little support to the
fingers.

My mixed feelings come about because all
my other S&W revolvers have the original
S&W Synthetic Rubber grips. I really enjoy
shooting those grips because of the finger
grooves, I gain a better hand grip purchase,
they are not slippery, manage recoil very
well and work well in the summer and winter.

I will leave the TGW Bear Hug grips on for
now, but I will eventually replace them with
the Synthetic Rubber grips.

Thanks again.
