A lot of folks have experienced a gritty trigger from a trigger bar that needs polishing, but that's a simple fix.

I read on a different forum that some light work with some steel wool can soften the edges without damaging the texture or removing too much material.
work down progressively from single aught down to triple or quad aught depending on preference.

Is the 2.0 Compact grip longer (more accommodating for large hands) than the previous 1.0 Compact? My 1.0 Compact only allows three fingers on the grip with my pinkie finger left off the grip. Will trading for a 2.0 Compact allow better grip? Thanks.

The 2.0 compact (15rds) is a lot better than the M&P Compact 1.0. The 2.0 also comes with two spacers that allows you to carry 17 round mags if you wish.
I believe they were released around sept 15. Not many issues so far as I can see. If apex parts are your fancy there's triggers (I prefer the flat faced trigger) and barrels available. Also quantico seems to have a steady supply of mags and holsters are popping up every day from different vendors. This gun is getting full support from all angles as far as in an tell.

No known issues that I've heard. Every review states 100% function and nothing bad to say outside of shooter preferences. Mine is wonderful!

I put Talon grips on my 2.0 Compact, and that made it much more comfortable to my old hands.

Raisin does that extension fit the old M&P9c mags or just the 2.0. The web site doesn't say either way. Do you like it better than the other extension you figured out how to fit?

I am over a thousands rounds on mine and not a single malfunction. Picked up 3 more 15 round magazines from Quantico last week. 5 is plenty and I just got shipping notice on the rebate magazines today. Life is good.

What rebate? I just bought a new 2.0 Compact and I haven't heard about the magazine rebate?
Rebate for 2 mags, a couple boxes of ammo and a loader. Go to the S&W website and see if it's still active. I don't remember when the cutoff date was .
There is numerous threads on the subject active right now...
