For shooting it is great. For carrying, as others have stated, I think it may be just a bit aggressive. I just got my IWB holster for it today and regularly carry under just a tshirt. I'm guessing I'll have to hit the left side of the pistol that is next to the skin when in the holster with some fine grain sandpaper and then it will be just right.

When i first held it in the store i was 50/50. Since then, i bought one and i have to say i love the texture. The IWB holster i have keeps it away from me enough where i don't get eaten up by the grip texture. The first holster i had i had to wear an undershirt but i've carried it all day with no issues. I have a 4.25 full size 9mm 2.0

For most people, the texture will be fine. But most people don't shoot their guns much. For those that do shoot more than average, they just shoot. They don't present from the holster or do malfunction drills.

For anyone that is using their gun from the holster and practicing malfunctions a lot, they'll find it too aggressive. It will wear at their hands and cause soreness and potentially blisters.

I've learned that a good grip trumps sand paper every time.

I use mine everything from every day carry,USPSA,IDPA and Steel Matches along with practicing. It is just right.I have found that a good grip will get you nowhere if your hands are wet and you have slick grips.

In the hand, fantastic. Iwb against skin too much. Particularly in the summer I don't intend to wear two t-shirts. Plan to go on to holster options and/or Talon grips.

I have the FS 9mm 2.0 and have shot 500 rounds through it. I think the grip is pertect. During one shooting session I shot 150 rounds without any issues with the grip. With that said, I do not intend to use this gun as my CC gun, so the grip texture is a non issue for me there.

The first time that I held the 2.0, I thought that I would never buy one because the grip texture felt too coarse. Then I shot my buddy's and that changed my mind. I love mine and you really don't notice the grip texture when you're actually firing the pistol.

Can’t handle the way too aggressive grip texture. At first I thought I’d take some sandpaper to it but instead, I replaced it with a G21. The G21 feels better in the hand and I shoot it much better. The M&P will go up for sale.
