2.5” 686-4

Thinking about either selling or trading my 686. What is the current market value?

It doesn’t get much use and I’d really like to get a TC contender or encore for my boys to hunt with.

I would keep that one. Don't see many vintage without the lock 2 1/2" 686's for sale and it being a -4 production. It looks to be in fine condition. In these times it would be especially hard to find another one at anything close to a reasonable price. I agree with $1000+ value. In my area (NW LA.), the pawn shops and gunstores would probably price it at between $1200-$1500. Good luck with your decision.

You know I searched quite a while for this 1, shot it very little and it’s sat in the safe since. It feels great in my hand - It would be a perfect carry gun if I didn’t have better options!!
