2 69XXs'-different S/N prefix letters and same S/N numbers

Picked up a used 6906 at the Berea Ohio show couple months back and picked up a used 6946 at the Niles Ohio show about a month before that. Different S/N prefix letters(that's based on the model) but with same S/N numbers. Would that be a 'matching numbers' set ? Unusual ?

Well, unusual to find and have together, but I'd guess about a 1 in 10000 chance in a random search .

Now, if the number 4097 has some kind of significance in your life, 'that' would be spooky!

Was not the result of a 'search'. When I was 'logging' the pistols' information into my records,hmmm,that number sounds/looks familiar. I guess NOW I gotta do a search for 6904,6926,&6944.
