I'm not sure why, but I seriously doubt we'll ever see a 2" or 3" version of a two-piece barrel.

Sooooo, how about a 2" or 3" version of the M10 Classic?

Or, OR, a 3" version of a 36 Classic?

There are quite a few police or corrections trade in 2" model 10's out there. I love mine, it sure makes a great carry gun.

Where are the best places to find the trade ins besides Buds and JG Sales? I think the 36 3" gun is neat. It was my first Smith and Wesson.
It's been so long ago though, it might have been a 2". I'm trying to compile a list of 'must have' Smiths now.

Best place would be sites like GB or LGS some times will get them but it seems Buds and JG Sales tend to get them a lot.

I should have mentioned that the new ball detent lock up on the 66 & 69 may take some of the 'stress'(?) off the extractor rod 'lock up'...

I'm obviously NOT an engineer. But maybe they could make a 2" or 3" version of the 2 piece barrel. If so, then a 3" version of the 66 would be my choice.

I just really like the K frames best for shooting .38.
