2002 Smith 629-6 Trail Boss In Question

The gun in question per Smith call in 2002 629-6 SN CFD714x. With a porduct code 163409. Left Smith and shipped to Fla. I ask.
Fla? Okay, at RSR he said yes, Well how about that. And even gave me the features: 3 inch, unfluted cylinder blah, blah. My first thought was RSR should be stamped under the top. Well it's not. Would this happen to be the first edition of the Trail Boss before the laser engraving the trail boss on the side plate, I don't really know.

Wouldent be the first edition, the lock came after it was introduced, may have just been called that... I know the original trail boss guns had fluted cylinders..

Is the first three letters in the serial number RSR. I know the -4s do.
