2011 Shot Show

The Shot Show starts next Tuesday, Jan 18, in Las Vegas.

There have been some hints dropped on the 1911 Forum that Colt has a surprise or 2 in store this year.
I hope S&W comes out with something that even us old guys can love

I wish it was a wheelgun.

A double action wheelgun to be exact.

Likely everything brought out by everyone will be more hum-drum, everyday armchair mercenary tactical plastic crap.
Or it'll be exorbitantly overpriced if it has wood and is made of blued steel.

Stainless steel 1886's just don't excite me.

Colt is going to have some "100 Years of 1911" handguns this year. Colt is also supposed to bring back the Colt New Frontier SA and the Colt SAA in "Stainless Steel" I will look forward to the New Frontiers but a Colt SAA in Stainless Steel just does not seem right to me but what do I know.

I expect we'll see a lot of "100 Year Tributes" to the 1911 this year. I am looking forward to attending this year's SHOT Show.

Come on S & W, let's see some good stuff!

If anyone is going I would love some feedback on Sig's new P290. I am looking for a smaller and thinner 9mm to carry and came across an article on it yesterday and really want to know more about it.
