2019 World IHMSA in OKC

I'm planning to go to the World Metallic Silhouette match this year. Been wanting to go since about 1980, but just never seemed to work out. I'll be getting into town Wed. the 17th, shooting Thurs. the 18th., may be there Fri.

If any of you other S&W Forum members will be there, look me up. I'd enjoy getting to meet you. I'll be the one shooting a 629. Not too many shoot a Smith for this game.

Where is it located this year? I haven't shot it since the 90's but still seeing what's new in the game. Do I understand there is now a scope division?

some friends and I (IHMSA # 5994) went to the Internationals in 1979 in Phoenix. I think there was 300 shooters at the Black Canyon range having good time.

It has been at the Oklahoma City Gun Club for a number of years now. Look up Home. The match runs from July 10 through July 20. No need to be there for 10 days. You can call Jim Fields (Match Director) at 405-203-1268 or 405-721-2186 for more details.

They have had scope divisions for a long time now, as many had to drop out due to old eyes when you could only have iron sights. A lot of the old timers put a scope on their guns and came back.
