My wife and I are thinking about attending the annual meeting for a few days this June in Concord. I am a SWCA member and heard that it is necessary to register beforehand to attend.

I am not an avid S&W collector but I do enjoy the big bores and older revolvers. Is it worth the trip?

My question is that I’d like to show up, visit the exhibit room, see a few friends and perhaps buy something old.

So what do I need to know?

Ken,

I went to the SWCA Member side and searched for the agenda without success. From my past history, the symposium registration materials are mailed to all members during March of each year. The materials will include a daily calendar for all of the events, costs, registration, etc.

The symposium this year is June 11th-15th.

My wife and I have always enjoyed ourselves at the symposiums. If you are a NASCAR fan you'll be within walking distance to the racetrack!

Cheers!

Bill

It's something every S&WCA member should do at least once . It's really a great time and a chance to put faces to names . Hope to see you there . As a matter of fact I got my package today .

Please do come. Lots of old and new Smiths and old and new friends. You’ll learn a lot and have a great time and see Smiths you’ve only read about or seen pictures of - if that.

A guaranteed good time - and first timers are always warmly welcomed.

Just go. We missed last Year because of work. This will be our fourth symposium and they are absolutely wonderful. Everybody's friendly. The guns are amazing. It's absolutely worth it.
