The PA Auction Center has extended an invitation to S&W Enthusiasts/Collectors to set up displays and/or sales tables during their October Gun Auction. The date will be Saturday - October 18th. The address is 1141 Wea Wit Street, East Earl, PA. (Near Blue Bell, New Holland and Ephrata, PA) It is about a quarter mile south of the intersection of PA Rt 322 and PA Rt 23. Everyone is welcome to attend, meet fellow S&W folks or set up display tables. They will have a separate area for us to set up. Eight foot tables will be $10 each. Set up of guns would be anytime after 7 AM on Saturday. Doors open to the public at 8 AM for the monthly auction. We can access the area Friday evening but can not leave guns over night. We can have our area until 3 or 4 PM. There is a side door for easy access, unloading/loading. They will encourage folks attending the auction to visit our displays. Since this will be open to the public, folks setting up should have someone at or watching their tables. The PA Auction Center has offered a free table for info on the S&W Collector's Association, membership forms, etc.. They have a kitchen for breakfast and lunch. They have a "High End Gun Auction" on that Friday evening for items expected to sell over $2K. Ken and Kevin Messner and I will host the event. We would like to know who is planning on attending so we have the proper number of tables set up. All Federal, State and Local guns laws need to be followed. The Auction house will provide a firearm transfer for $25 if needed. This is not a sanctioned event of the S&WCA. Contact us for more information and hotels if interested.

I am a Virginia resident with a concealed carry permit. I am considering going to this event. If I found something I wanted to purchase could that be done at this show and would I be able to take it home with me or would FFL to FFL transfer be necessary.

Hi Greenwellg,

The Auction House needs to protect their business so an FFL transfer is required on all modern firearms. If you have a local dealer you work with and he allows you to have a copy of his FFl, worst case it can be mailed and insured. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Hope to see you there!

I hope to try to make this event but I cannot be sure with work until a bit closer. Is there a set date you need to know by? Also will it be ok to show items under glass?

I am curious if the high end auction will have S&W guns.
Thank you
