We hit the sack early in the Chad household, so I'd like to wish all our members and staff a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!

The ball even dropped early for Scout! ;)

No calls last nights. Maybe people are finally wiseing up and not drinking and driving. Or at least having a designated driver. I'm not sure if there are Ubers in Wayne County.

Anyway, Happy New Years to all!

Well, thankfully this New Year has been a lot less "interesting" than the last.

One year ago I t-boned a red light running Tacoma, totaled my red Bronco, and put myself on injured reserve for three months. Today, by comparison, was wonderful.

Our plans were to attend a New Years gathering at our favorite brewery. The owners are young and do a good job running a “family” brewery. Good beer, good entertainment, no tvs and always planning good times together with good folks.

Well…Himself was rebuilding a table for an elderly friend. Been doing woodworking and carpentry for decades. I know my way around power tools and realize they can hurt me. So, ripping boards on the table saw, a board kicks back and I end up in the Emergency Room on New Years Eve. No party, no beer, no costumes, but I did get a broken thumb and eight (8) stitches!

Also planned on being home by 10:00 pm (party started at 7pm). Got to the ER at 6pm home by 8pm. Got to love small town Hospitals and ERs!

Tomorrow we will see if I can still work.

Kevin

So what Bronco are you driving now,, I took my 13 year old Granddaughter out to the farm and stuck my daughters daughter, behind the wheel, and shifted the 4 door big Bronco into 4 low, and said, "let her rip Finlee", she loved it.. the Bronco was kinda happy to be let out of the corral as well... I even let Finn drive it down the black top to the "hard road",, thats what Grandpa's do isn't it, LOL yeah, I had a hell of a time! She likes to hang with Grandpa, she absolutely loved it..
