DSL has been the norm for me for years. On a good day, 20 MBS download, 4 MBS upload. Fiber was recently installed on my road, so I signed up and it was installed this morning. 255 MBS download, 271 MBS upload. This is their base plan which is cheaper than the DSL. What a difference! I work from a home office, so up to today when I uploaded files it was click upload and then go have a coffee while I wait.

We were using our phone hotspots for home internet with 8 mbps down, 2 mbps up, until Spectrum started laying fiber optic cable in our area. Now with my old laptop I get 52 down, 44 up. The newer laptop gets over 108 down, 90 up. I'm happy as if I had good sense.
