I just acquired this Kitgun, and would like to
install a rear aperture sight-blade, 'cause of my
old eyes. This is a 1956 vintage, with coil spring.
Was wondering if S&W had blades for newer models
that would fit.
TIA, TACC1.

.22/.32 rear sight blades

TACC1, I'm not an authority on kit Gun rear sight blades but I haven't ever seen anything such as you describe. If I understand your description you are asking about what would amount to a Peep Sight installed on a revolver. If this is the question it just could be that someone can shed some light on what you are asking.
There are electronic sights that can enhance "Old Eyes" ability to see and this could be what you are seeking and if so others with experience should join in with suggestions and guide you if this is a feasible project.

Sir,
Thank you for your reply. My old eyes have a hard time seeing anything but a blur, unless the lighting is just right. And you
can imagine how often that'll happen in real life.
I don't want to modify the gun past being a plinker,
and I know I can see the front sight just fine with a rear
aperture.
