.22 cal. hunt guns

S&W builds P.C guns and now XL hunters in centerfire. How about a 617/17 XL hunter or even a rimfire hunter series ? Would'nt a 647 with dual cylinders be just the ticket ?

Dual cylinders in what calibers? .17HM2 and .17HMR?

I'd be far more interested in a .22LR/.22Mag setup, similar to the Ruger Single-Six but DA/SA.

Don't get me wrong - I like the .17HMR cartridge, but one of the big pluses to the Single-Six setup is cheap plinking with the LR, and good small game power from the Mag. .17HM2 costs as much as good match-grade .22LR...
