In case you wondered, those are not the original stocks. That is not necessarily a big deal because a lot of pre-model-marked K-frames don't have original stocks on them. Your gun would have come with magnas that had unscored diamonds around the screw holes, or possibly optional target stocks. Your gun has a target hammer, which was an available option on guns at the time yours was made, but was not the standard hammer. The target hammer may have been original on your gun at shipment time, or it may have been installed later. The stocks necessarily postdate 1968, when the diamonds disappeared.
In any event, K-22s are wonderful guns. That one has a good finish for something nearly 60 years old. Congratulations!
