I have checked most internet sites and most gun stores in Hillsborough county and cannot find a single round of 22 mag. My Henry Golden Boy, S&W scandium.22 mag and Pug all rest quitely in the safe. Is this a national problem or just the Tampa area?
Cabelas had it yesterday, just checked, sold out.
Store shelves around here have been mostly void of .22WMR and .22LR ammo for quite some time. When it does show up the prices are ridiculous.
A couple of weeks ago on another forum a fellow that works for CCI posted that he primed 600,000 rounds on his shift. So there is still hope that more will become available and hopefully at more reasonable prices.
Luckily I haven't needed to buy any rimfire ammo since it started becoming scarce and prices climbed. My supply of .22WMR is still good, and with the exception of the Winchester Supreme most was under $10 a box.....$3.99 Armscor, $6.99 Fiocchi and $9.95 for Hornady 30gr V-Max.

Sadly the days of $12-$15 a brick of .22LR plinking ammo are long gone too, and my supply is dwindling.....
