I bought this 2214 new over 30 years ago. It was a diaper-bag gun for my wife when she was out and about with our first born, now a strapping 33 year old.

It wound up in the back of the safe, not completely forgotten about but unshot for 20 years or so.

The other day I decided to take a bunch of little guns to the range. I was amazed at how well this little gun shot. Big sights, great trigger, 100% reliable.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen another in a store. I understand they are popular for suppressor use due to the low barrel axis.

Yes, very reliable and accurate. It used to be my woods gun until the other one showed up and I'm really not sure why I switched. Love their size and ability to whack fence posts and such when called upon to plink. It does pair nicely with a silencer making the neighbors less aware of my plinking.

These are great little series of guns. I like them WAY better than the MK series.
I first bought a used 422 circa 1992 or so. Around 1996 I bought a NIB 622. Years later, I decided I wanted to collect them all. So now I have these:
422 6"
622, 622VR 4.5", 622VR 6" (VR = Vent Rib) pictured below
2206 6"
2213
2214

I've got suppressor adapters for all, but only have them mounted on a couple. They do work great with the low bore axis. No change in sights are needed.

I've also got a model 41 which is similar but in no way the same. It uses the same grips and can share magazines.

I have been looking for a mint 422 in the box as well as the other barrel lengths. The 422 I have has been carried into the woods every trip since I bought it and while I take care of it, it has still got a fair amount of nicks and dings.

Sigh. I liked the entire series because of the ambi mag release and always especially loved these itty-bitty ones. Ah, but I was in law school at the time and didn't have extra money for one (although I managed to spend a lot on the ladies, somehow) . . . thanks for showing yours off, Brad.

I have a NIB 2213. Has all the paperwork, bag and holster. Unique gun. The box has "Promo" on the label. I was told these were made in limited number, possibly only 1,500?
