I need advice on the consequences of firing .223 cartridges that have the shoulder bumped too low. I miss adjusted the sizing die, as indicated by a head space/case gauge and the Dillon directions say this brass should be discarded. It would be a shame to discard 200 pieces of brass, but if it's dangerous so be it.

How much "slop" do you think you have? Brass stretches well (think 223 Ack Imp), and may readily grow back to chamber dimensions. Remotely possible (dependent on how short) to have a case separation?
