That's not just cheap for SD/hunting ammo, it's cheap for any .223. I mean the price. Fiocchi is pretty decent stuff.

I googled it before purchase, first sight came up at .72 a round....

I reload, so I'll appreciate the brass after I shoot it ;)

I'm fixing to send a lot of .223 down range this weekend, I hope, and then be ready for a feral hog predation hunt in October. Always good to replace my ammo before I even use that many rounds, and I will use at least that many, if not more. "That many" = 400 rounds that I ordered. Cool! Thanks. :)

Also ordered 400. Never shot Fiocchi. Looking forward to it.

Thank you for the tip!

200 rounnds would not feed my pile of AR's for one range session and i shoot each week.....normally about 300-400 rounds. I then reload for the next session as the soda cans and dirt clods become a nusiance once again. I got some of the Fiocchi and it shoots really nice groups from my Ruger Scout rifle (3x9 luminated Tru Glo) so will keep it on the shelf for that rifle. My Sport seems to follow me on each shooting day, with all of my builds and factory AR's the S&W is a fun rifle for blasting the old gong.

Odd thing about this ammo from Midway, or rather the shipping. I put one case in my cart, shipping was over 15 bucks, put two cases in, shipping went down to 14 buck, settled on 4 cases and shipping was still 14.50. @ 33.5 cents per round, I can always keep a little extra on hand. I too reload so I always factor in that I'm getting extra brass cases for reloading after the factory ammo goes down the barrel.

Sounds like a good deal for you guys. I live in Missouri, so I will get charged tax and shipping. I almost pulled the trigger on this since I could get 500 rounds of Federal .55 gr. fmjbt for $195.69. I thought, hey, I can get 100 more rounds for about $5 more. Then I remembered the sales tax.. bummer. I guess Federal it is.
