223 Wylde

My PSA Upper with 18 inch Barrel in 223 Wylde Chamber has arrived. I'm waiting for the AR 15 lower to arrive so I can install the Vorterx 4x12x40mm scope. Then it's off to the range I go and zero it in as I will hunt with it.

Which gas system and barrel profile did you get? I fancy a lightweight upper with a midlength gas system to go on my Stag.

Here is the information on the upper: 4150V chrome moly steel. Nitride treated for accuracy and durability. Chambered in 223 Wylde, with a 1:7 twist rate, M4 barrel extension, and a rifle-length gas system. Barrel is finished off with a PSA 15" Lightweight M-Lok partial picatinny free float rail, .750" low-profile gas block, and an A2-style flash hider.

That's the same upper I bought earlier this year excpet mine has the stainless barrel, it's a nice one.

My PSA Lower came in today and it's a Magpul CTR in FDE color. I really like the CTR butt stock because of its locking device. I then mounted a new 4x12x40mm Vortex scope on it. If it ever stops raining here I head out to the range and zero it in. The Upper came with a PSA Nickel Boron bolt carrier group that I also have on my other AR 15's.
