Will a 224 Havey K-Chuk converted cylinder work in a Model 53 frame?

What was the converted cylinder originally from/for?

17 or 48

Not with out turning the barrel back to make it fit deeper into the frame.
17/18/48 cylinders are .050" shorter than a Model 53 cylinder.
