Well I cannot speak about gougers from first hand knowledge but if the sellers of all this ammo are paying 3 times what it went for a couple years or so back, and have the funds to buy a case of Federal 325 packs for $250.00 you cannot expect them to give it away now can you. All this talk about gougers reminds me of all the LGS dealers who cried to high heaven about the home FFL's running them out of business. The little guys were willing to order you anything available, while the shop dealers and there were many around here, were not. They only wanted to sell what they had in stock. Many of such dealers are now gone-- I cannot think of more than one of the old time gun shops within any given hundreds of miles. He is a REAL gunsmith, and is busy beyond belief. People still cry about the prices-- they seem to forget he has to pay the same prices for gas & groceries that everyone does. 
Yeah, he charged me 20 bucks to make a screw I needed-- he dropped everything to do so. Was it worth it? You bet!! I am thinking there are too many people who have forgotten, if you want to get there you have to pay the fare. I for one think the whining about ammo prices is wearing a bit thin. SO you are going to reload?? Well prices there are up as well.
