Well here's the haul. Had to wait in line for 45 minutes 2 different days this weekend at the Grand Opening but for the prices and me not having anything else planned, it was worth it. Had plans for saturday or it coulda been worse.....
Not selling a single round. These are for myself and grandkids and any of my friends who may need some.
On friday the wife had a doctors appt. so i had to go by myself.
On Sunday she went with me and stood in a rainy drizzle for half an hour, "what a trooper".
Total was two 1400 rd. Remington HP buckets at 69.00 per
1500 rounds CCI mini-mag HP's at 7.99 per hundred
and a 500 brick of Federal 40gr. RN at 24.95-=4800 rds. total.
Got total of 3 ten dollar gift cards for being among the first 100 people thru the doors on the two days and another ten dollars off for opening a rewards program.
Then got 2 free Gander Mtn. hats and a free pair of polarized sunglasses as being among the first 250 people to check out on those days. Throw in some other free goodies like can coolers, lanyards for around your neck, floating key chains for fishermen and it was a good weekend.
Good Weekend !!!!!
Here's "Rudy" protecting my recent stash.....

Thanks guys. It was nice to finally find some at a good price.
The limit each day was one big and 5 small.
Meaning one brick or "bucket" and 5 of the 50-100 packs per person
per day. Everybody in line was getting the same thing.
Getting one bucket of the Remingtons and 5 one hundred packs
of the CCI mini-mags.
I opted for a brick of Federals on sunday in place of the bucket
and added my 5 one hundred packs of the CCI.

Congrats on the haul as what you did earned it and I tip my hat to you for not reselling any.

Around here that means shift change.:D

Nice haul at least someone is getting them. Still none around here or at least none I will wait in line for. I bet you will be seeing some of it in the for sale ads from some of the others.

The last .22 I got I got from the internet. Tried to be a nice guy and tell others about a $10 code and got a demerit for it.

Don't let that hater bother you! Have fun shooting with your grandkids!

It's starting to come back a little but don't be fooled. Buy it when you can, so you can shoot when you want in the future.

Also, sweet avatar!

Are people really so jealous of ammo scores that they must try to belittle the buyer? It seems every purchase must be for resale or for a selfish hoarder? The detractors must just sit around, waiting for it to fall into their laps, without looking.

With some diligence, patience and selective buying, I've managed to replenish my .22 LR stash (call me a hoarder, I don't mind) at very reasonable prices, considering the current market. Not a single round is or will be for sale. It will be fired by me and my wife. If I find more at reasonable prices, I might buy it. If I can find it, you can too. JMO
