I was in Cabela's in Scarborough Maine yesterday. They had some 22 lr, particularly CCI standard velocity that I shoot in my gallery league. They have a 2 box limit and no bricks. I bought 2 50 round boxes for me and 2 for my wife because it was better than nothing. As I was cashing out, one of the clerks happened to mention that he had herd that Kittery Trading Post had 22 ammo with no limit. I had to go by there on my way home so, without any expectations, I stopped in. They had all kinds of 22's. In one isle they had three small pallets. One with CCI standard, one CCI high velocity and one of Federal target. Plus they had individual boxes of just about everything else. No limit on anything. One of the workers said they have had it for about three weeks. Now for the bad news. $49.99 for a 500 round brick of CCI standard velocity! At least Jesse James had the common decency to wear a mask when he robbed people!
