I bought my 25-2 6" in 1994 for $317.37 including tax. Fantastic condition and a very accurate shooter. If you reload, try some .45 Auto Rim brass - way easier than moon or half-moon clips.

I got my Model 25-2 in 1980 or so, not a lot of money. Fast forward to the 4" one, still not a lot of money.

As far as Auto Rim brass, everyone gets a choice! Mine is moon clips!

If you get some 45 Auto Rim brass you won't need a pencil or moon clips to extract emptied. Starline does a production run of Auto Rim periodically.
I don't like the moon clips because if I only shoot 3 or 4 shots and want to reload, I have to dump unfired rounds on the ground to do it. I also practice " shoot two-load-two " drills.

I had A 25 and a 625 1989 but let them both go after I got a Mountain Gun in 45 ACP AND A 1917. i wish i had them back but am happy with what I have.

The Mountain Gun is a great packing pistol. I built one from a Model 28-2 four decades ago, long before the factory brought them out. Heck, ANY four inch barreled 45 ACP revolver is a good revolver!
