I'm watching an auction for an unpinned 25-5 with some cosmetic issues...a scratched up cylinder and a few spots in the bluing on the barrel, like from blood maybe. Otherwise a solid shooter according to the seller. It's listed at $480 to start plus shipping. I'm considering offering $400 if it doesn't sell...is that a good price, even for a beater? Seems like the nicer ones start at around $600. Thanks.

That's a nice looking revolver...looks like good honest wear a working gun would have. The one I'm considering is...well I hesitate to call it abused since I haven't actually held it, so I'll just call it "not well kept." With shipping I'm looking at about $500...just can't decide if if it's worth it or if I should hold out for a better one although it would be considerably more money based on what I'm seeing available.
