I saw a site that sold red limiter plugs that reduced a 25rd mag to 10rd. Can't seem to find the site. Anyone have a link to a site selling this red limiter plug?

Thanks, those are the links I was looking for.

I was looking to take a long, pinned 10rd S&W magazine, knock the pin out then insert this restrictor. Before inserting the restrictor I wanted to cut it down to make it into a 15rd restrictor since that's the magazine limitation in NJ.

The restrictor looks like its made with 5rd increments. So I was going to cut the last 5rd segment to make it a 15rd restrictor. I thought this would be the most effective way to make 15rd mags for NJ. Thoughts?

Do you think this restrictor would work on a ProMag magazine? Would this idea be legal for NJ?

I don't know about the ProMag, but I would like to hear about that.
There are lines at each 5 round increment to trim the limiter.
You can also put it in a 10 round shorty to limit it to any number you want (NY anybody) In Oregon we can have only 5 rounds for hunting, even for the .22LR, except for the grey tree squirrel.

let me no how you make out with removing that pin, I also live in nj looks like mag needs to be split in half to get that out then limiter installed

The floor plate for the Promag have two holes as oppose to one on the S&W. You may have to modify the Promag floorplate to match the knobs that are on the red limiter. The Promag has the same curvature as the S&W except at the bottom, since the Promag is longer.

for what it is worth my local shop said you can put anything in there (small plastic ruler) or whatever. wooden dowel even as long as it is "permanent"
and permanent is not defined in the law so basically it has to take a significant amount of effort to reverse your plug (and need tools to do it).
a plastic ruler cut to length and then epoxy the floor plate on should do it (THIS IS FOR CALI) always check with your local authorities

We are not making them right now, but with all the interest lately (for some odd reason) we are thinking of throwing the mold in the injection machine and knocking out a few thousand real quick.

Thanks tacticool!! i was just about to use a plastic ruler but would much prefer these. I will order them again. you should of just kept my $ from the first order;) Thanks again for making these available.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if or when we would run the limiters so we did not keep your payment as that would be unethical.
