The 2 Performance Center models both come with 10rd magazines, and I can't find any info on the S&W web site that says whether or not the 25rd magazines will work in them.

I *assume* they will, but I want to know the answer for sure before I make a purchase decision. Still mulling over the MOE vs. Perf Center, and this could be a deciding factor.

On the S&W web site, the Perf Center models both say 10rd magazines - I know that's what comes with them - but it would have been SO easy for them to say "also works with 25rd magazine" just to be clear.

Maybe I should ask another question while I am at it: Assuming that 25rd magazines do work in the Perf Center models, is there any reason not to use them if you don't mind the extra length sticking down?

The only difference in the magazines is their capacity. I have 10 25-round magazines and 5 10-rounders. I use the 10-rounders for shooting from the bench.

My camo version only came with a 10 round mag; got a couple of 25 round mags and they work just fine. Going to order some more of each; the 10 round mags work great from the bench; the 25 round ones are too long for the bench. We have to shoot from a bench at our public range; the 25 roud mags get a lot of use on private property.

You can't shoot standing? Bummer! :(
