I'm cataloging my Guns and trying to find as much information as possible.

What would be the year of my S&W 27-2 with 8 3/8 Barrel?

What are the production numbers on the longer ones?

What would be an estimate price on this gun?

I'll take a shot at it.

Manufactured between 1975-1977 per the Standard Catalog.

For value, I'd check COMPLETED listings on Gunbroker for a clue. Looks like 800-1000 is the range.

Late 1975 sounds right.

I have no idea about production numbers, but the 8-3/8" barrels are not rare. 6" seems to be the most common and the 3-1/2", 4" and 5" barrels seem to have the most demand. 6-1/2" 27-2's do exist and are also sought after.

I don't know about gun prices outside of the US, but here a nice long tube 27-2 will bring around $900.
