The Final Piece to the Puzzle arrived today...(Well, Almost...Still missing the Non Reg Mag 3.5)..Been looking for awhile for a 27 No Dash 3.5 and Finally found her in Georgia...

27 No Dash 3.5 inch...All numbers Matching including grips...Shipped March 1960 Serial S 200276... Leather Compliments of John Witty (Turnerriver) Its a little vintage for this revolver, but I had to take a few snaps of it...

My pics were taken quick with my LightBox because wife had dinner almost ready on the table and she gave me about 15 minutes...Hopefully I can get some more pics when the sun shines..We got another 20 inches of snow today...UGH!!!

I also took a group shot with my 1950 Pre 27, 27 No Dash and a 27-1....Please enjoy the pics and dont knock on the photography to bad...

Wow! Beautiful gun and collection! Here is mine- pre 27 blue, mod 27 nickel, mod 27-2 nickel and mod 27-2 blue. Neither my photography skills nor collection is on par with yours, but I am playing the game, learning and having fun!

Does it ever end ?

Nope. Never ends. Just keeps going. Ugh!!!!

I didn't have time to bring the other ones out. Wife said. DINNER TIME.

3.5" ers

Jim,
I am glad that you snagged another piece of the puzzle. Couldnt happen to a nicer , more deserving guy!! And I am especially glad that your collecting is not in so many twisted directions as mine is.

It makes so much sense that you are on the hunt for 3.5inchers
of each variant starting with the reg mag throught the last prelock 3.5 which is the -5. And if I am correct the 3.5 was not present in the -3 and -4 engineering changes.

So you must now be on the more elusive hunt for the 3.5" tubes on a reg mag, a non reg mag and on the transitonal postwar.
