27 No Dash 4 Screw 5" TT,TH,TS,WO,RR, **Factory Cokes**

Once they became available, Magna and target stocks made of special woods (including Goncalo alves) could be ordered with any N-frame revolver at extra cost or purchased separately. See the All Model Circular from January 1960. Based on the markings on the box, I believe the Model 27 was ordered with the stocks now on it.

Very Neat. Thank you for Sharing that.

Hey Jim,
Nice find!
I know I'm late to the party, but I just needed to make you aware that that is a birth year gun for me, and I have yet to find one myself. That should give me priority in getting it over the others desiring it......... shouldn't it?:D

Oh Yeah...well Nostrodomus fortold that unless I found a 5" 27 no dash with Cokes by
March 2014....the end of the world was certain ...
Oh and Im baby sitting your Border Collie Matisse over here just in case.
No pressure....

You knew I was just joking Jim !
For everyone else It Was just a joke and the picture is from an old National Lampoon magazine cover....pretty cool though with the Model 27.

How many 3.5"ers now ?... You need to update your group shot as it sounds like your closing in on Sal !!!

Then its time for a 4" to squeeze between the 3.5"ers and 5"ers !

Then you will need a 6" and 6.5" and might as well get the 8 3/8" to complete the set....then each length with a Baughman and a Patridge FS,
Then each in blue and nickel, then each revision, then the SS versions....

Jim:

With all of the recent acquisitions of 27s and Pre-27s that you keep showing on your wooden table, there are no good ones left.

If you need any food or supplies airlifted to your place to help feed your family this month, let me know. I think I can spare some survival jerky and a can of freeze dried food or some MREs. LOL

Congratulations! That is a beautiful revolver!

Shawn

The 3 1/2s are talking amongst themselves....that new chick is nice, but...well...a nose job would be a good idea...
She from Long Island?:D

Beautiful find, Jim. Fantastic....wonderful...swelll...you rat.:p

How many 3.5"ers now ?... You need to update your group shot as it sounds like your closing in on Sal !!!

Then its time for a 4" to squeeze between the 3.5"ers and 5"ers !

Not only is this a great source of S&W information, it is also a wonderful repository of strange humor, for those who can handle it. Who else has old copies of National Lampoon to use? A joke, and a pretty good one at that. Don't have the elusive 3.5", but I do have a couple 4"er's. I'm just way behind you guys when it comes to .357 mags in the M-27 variety. Keep them coming, and the humor too.

I catch myself giggling to myself all the time, after reading some of these posts. And the wife just looks at me strangely and moves on. Prob thinks I'm crazy.

No probably about it,

If shes like my X wife shes thinking "Hmmm I can get a million dollar life insurance policy then make it look like an accidental discharge .... Go ahead n make 1 more comment about my meatloaf I dare you....."

So 5 of the 3.5"ers and three 5"ers = 8 total ?
any other lengths ?

Well Jim,

I wouldn't shoot a poor dog with it, so I think that and the fact that I don't need to have the "cokes" (unless they came on it) puts me back out front. Sorry Engine49guy, but you're just too mean. It may be due to that ex wife you mentioned, but still............. just sayin':D

Beautiful gun, I think you should stick to the 5" guns and leave some of those ugly 3.5" ers floating around for me to find...
