Don't have much history on it. The guy I bought it from had it for about 3 years and never shot it. Doesn't look like it's seen very many rounds in it's life.

I've had it to the range once along with a model 27 no dash 5"
Put a couple of dozen rounds through each they are both very nice to shoot.

I took my 1969 4" 28-2 to the range today. Great time...no problems. .357s were a handful with the magna grips.....38 specials felt like .22s.

My normal preference for most revolvers is 4", but somehow a 6" Highway Patrolman seems right. I have one of each, like them both.
