28-2 Ship Date?

I just picked up a 28-2 serial number S324XXX. It is in 98% condition with a slight ring line. It is a 4" model, and it looks like it has been fired but not a lot. I can't believe I was the only one who bid on this one, but I definitely got it at a great price.

S305000 through S329999 were shipped 1968-1969. Beautiful piece! Congrats on the find.

Thanks for your help. I thought it was in the 60s, just didn't know when as I thought the N serial numbers started in the late 60s. Guess there was some overlap.

Absolutely happy with the price. Cost less than my N serial number 6", and is in just as good as shape. Looking forward to giving it some time in the range soon.
