28 Birth Year?

I have a model 28-2 with a serial number of N53XXX, and I am wondering when it was shipped.

Thanks. I figured it was that time frame, but wasn't too sure as I thought the S numbers ended in 1969 or so, and N started around then. Just couldn't tell since I didn't know when the N numbers actually started.
