Five grand is just chump change to some people. All I can say is good for the seller.
I was thinking this.Yeah.
I'd say the chances of a non-paying bidder are pretty much certain.
Update - I found it! I had to search by seller. It did not come up with a search by description.Hmmmmm! I just did an advanced search for this revolver in completed items and it does not show.
That's how I won my Lew Horton 24!I did notice there were 84 bids. At least two people that just had to have one. (Sitting at home with a nice bourbon, maybe 2 or 3 (or more) and on the internet drooling over that).
Put it up on the WTB forum here… you never know!I would LOVE to know where to get a mint 27-2 6" 3T Smith

Ive had some nice ones. At least I thought that were.
But, still id love to have just 1 truly mint 27-2 6" barrel - nothing special like a 5" or 3.5" - just a run of the mill 27-2 6" no later than '78
That's just what I would like to find
You know what, your right!Put it up on the WTB forum here… you never know!
See how long the guy has been a member and see how many posts they have done. Get a real photograph sent to your messages here. I’d even go so far as to say to get the guy to take some video of himself with it so you can see it from all angles…You know what, your right!
Just gotta be careful I reckon
FYI, I have a S&W Model 27-2 .357 Magnum with a 6.5 inch barrel that I would consider selling. It was shipped in 1972 so it is C&R eligible. I'd say it is in near-mint condition and has been fired very little. It is in the original serial numbered S&W box with original tools and two sets of original wooden grips. It also has a speed loader and holster specifically made for the Model 27.I would LOVE to know where to get a mint 27-2 6" 3T Smith
