I got this back in 1985 when I was about 13 years old, having had an interest in the model 29 back then.
It has certainly seen better days and needs a really good clean and polish.
A non functioning gun with a solid barrel.
Manufactured by Japanese company, Kokusai.

Now owning several SW 29-2’s, I was interested to look back on this one (while I’m back over in England) to see which parts they got right and which parts they got wrong, or decided to change.
This one now belongs to my nephew.
These Kokusai replicas are pretty hard to find today.
Hope this is of interest to all.

Ed Brown’s estate has one of those in a 586 and they want over $600 for it. I failed to see the point when you can buy a 586 pretty close to that money.

Yes. It’s for the avid collector I guess.
Anything related to the real thing.
Worth what anyone is willing to pay.

Yes. I have a whole collection! This is the one that planted the seed.
