Found a beautiful blued 6.5 inch with box dirty Harry badge and cuff key.was wondering what they are going for. Can't find one online to compare price thanks in advance was wondering what it would be worth so I could make a fair offer. I offered 1,000 but not sure if that's reasonable

Only two clues; 29-2 and 6.5 inch. Pictures would be great. Without those more description is needed; serial number, stocks, condition? For example, a S sn 6.5 inch with original diamond target stocks is worth considerably more than a later N sn, somewhat rough finish, with rubber grips. The info on the box could be very helpful too. I have a 6.5 inch blue, S sn with diamond targets in good condition but no box. Wouldn't sell it for $1000 but its probably not worth a much more than that. Good luck.

Not trying to hijack the thread but I went to a large local gun show yesterday, hundreds of tables. I only came across Five, 29-2's. One 4", three 8.5", and one 6.5", all of them were N serial and we're between 80-95%

Sticker prices were running $1200 no box or tools to 1600 complete with presentation Case and tools. Seems a little inflated from last show.

I adopted this 90% 1977-78 29-2 6.5" for $900, no box tools or other, and was happy with the purchase. Only downfall was the grips, although in great condition, they look to have been coated with a Lacquer at some time in their life. They are also black washer which I do not believe were correct for this pistol. If someone is looking for black washer N stocks left me know as I'm pretty sure this should have silver washers.
