Most likely shipped in mid-74. I have one that is close in serial number and it was shipped in June 1974.

I have a model 57 with serial # 144xxx and it was shipped in sept 1974 to Gopher Shooters supply in Faribault, Minnesota. So I would have to agree your revolver was early to mid 1974.
