I think some of y'all most live in more Lady-rich areas of the country than those I frequent. Last few I've seen have been asking north of $700 for a worse-looking specimens than shown here. Last one I saw sell went for $600 with a bad forcing cone and a split barrel (it did come with a good replacement barrel, but in the wrong finish).
Some people give the price THEY would pay, not what the usual price is when giving estimates. I really doubt your going to find very many Ladysmiths for $500-600
Now that’s surprising! I think a forcing cone with a crack really hurts the value. YMMV
That is true, but his more focused pictures do not show any crack
