3-Guns, 3-Weeks, 3-Five-Sevens (357's)

Just a thought from your OP but...you're never too young to have carried a revolver. :)

Take it from one who was wheelgun bound, then wondernine'd to death in the late 80's, then combat tupperwared til LEO retirement and now...back to wheelguns.

ALWAYS shot those the best anyway.

and...uh...where's the pics or we don't believe you. :)

Congratulations on your recent purchases! Thumbs up!

I think you would be happy with any of the options aforementioned.

The later model Colt Trooper, and I like Colts, is not, in my opinion, in the same league as the model 27 (by any stretch of the imagination).

My opinion is that you go for the best and rarest available to you at the time: 5" model 27.

Years from now you will see the others; but will you see the 5" at a price your willing to pay?

I have about equal numbers of the Smith & the Colt 357 revolvers. If you intend to shoot it a lot, I'd try the Trooper. Many dislike them for various reasons, but many of the disparaging comments I read don't mention how they shoot.

I like mine because they just keep on shooting without any problems, and seem to me to be more comfortable with full power loads.

Others will have different opinions and experience.
