3 inch K Frame Holsters

Even though you're a Browns Fan.................

No pics, but I've got several 3" 65 and 66s.

Under the heading of "Buyer beware"

Something to watch out for, some holsters are cut right to/flush with the muzzle while other are cut as much as 1/2" long.

Examples:
My 3" guns will fit "some" older holsters that are marked for 2 1/2" Guns.
My late 80s Milt Sparks Summer Special ordered for a 3" K-frame is cut long and a 4" gun fits without the barrel sticking out the bottom.

A few for your consideration.

A few I have:

If I recall the order correctly:
A Tex Schumaker leather paddle holster. Comfortable but like most paddle holsters, doesn’t hold the butt tight. Far better than most though.

Kramer MSP paddle holster. Comfortable and is by far the best paddle holster I’ve ever tried. Holds the butt tight to the body.

A S&W branded duty holster. No complaints.

Triple K holster. Not expensive. No complaints.

A Masters holster. Also not expensive. I wear it at 2:00 using the cross draw slots and like it a lot. The regular strong side slots work fine too. The cross draw slots make sitting easy.

More 3” K frame holsters.

Kramer #2. Great holster!

Lobo Leather. Very nice.

Another couple photos of the Kramer, because it warrants special attention.

Last is a loser Bianchi. I tried it AIWB one day. It wouldn’t hold the butt tight and was a pita. Can’t is adjustable, might possibly work somewhere else, but I doubt it will keep the butt tight.

Too lazy to dig out photos but I have a 3" 13, 65 and 66. All wear Lobo Gun Leather holsters. Check them out, I don't think you will be disappointed.

This Galco pancake is OK but I would prefer to have the gun ride a little lower. I suspect they make the same basic holster for longer barrels as well, and this would be fine for a 6” gun or even a 4”. I do like the fact that it covers the trigger guard completely.

I have a no-name tooled leather belt holster for my 3” Model 64. Looks good, not much for CCW.

What I prefer to carry it in is blasphemy - Kydex. Red no less.
CUSTOM AIWB Holster: JM Custom Kydex

The guys on Pistol-Forum raved about JM Custom for wheelgun holsters. After buying one, I understood why. Carries very well, as Tony at JM got the perfect balance point on the cylinder.
